Waters reach is a newly converted, idyllic holiday cottage situated on a private elevated site. It has stunning, uninterupted views overlooking the Colne River estuary and far reaching views over private farm land and marshes. Reaching the water and the sea wall takes just a few minutes via a private walkway over the marshes.
This luxurious eco-friendly holiday home, recently converted from traditional stables , combines fresh, contemporary accomodation with a coastal theme, retaining a wealth of original features. Exposed beams and vaulted ceilings create a light, airy feel while original brick walls show their age and charm. Every effort has been made to preserve the character of the building during the conversion, subtly blending old with new . Wherever possible old materials have been re-used to reduce the environmental impact of the build. On going woodland management on the farm provides fuel for the woodburner and the underfloor heating, throughout the property, is operated by a ground source heat pump. The hot water is provided by solar panels. The level access, gently sloping floors of the interior, with wheelchair standard doorways, wide pathways between rooms and an accessible wet room ensures the property is accessible to all.
